As far as I’m concerned the only trans character in the show is Viktor and he’s transhuman not transgender. That being said his arc has a lot in common with a good transgender arc. Arcane is over, and now my life has no meaning. The final trio of episodes had so much ground to cover and so many character arcs to wrap-up, but it did the impossible and managed it, leaving viewers with the right kind of lingering questions and just enough answers to feel satisfied. It was also incredibly fruity.
Arcane co-creator Chrisitian Linke has confirmed that Viktor is asexual. In a recent interview with German Twitch streamer LPGjustJohnny, Linke claimed Viktor was always meant to be asexual representation, after discussions with LGBTQIA+ Rioters before Arcane's creation. At the heart of the series are two major relationships, that of siblings Vi and Jinx, and the partnership between Jayce and Viktor. Jayce and Viktor come from different social classes but eventually unite over their shared ambition for scientific progress, which results in them creating Hextech - a fusion of science and magic. The duo then agree to end what they started and sacrifice themselves to eliminate Hextech forever.
“Gay sex is less gay than whatever the hell these two did in this finale,” was the message after the finale of Netflix’s hit League of Legends adaption, Arcane, delivered an emotional end to Jayce and Viktor’s storyline. Arcane Season 2, and the series as a whole , has officially ended, and while it was an emotional rollercoaster that some people still haven't recovered from, a lot of talking points were thrown up as a result of the show's climax. One such conversation that is still ongoing is the relationship between Viktor and Jayce, and whether the two have any sort of romantic feelings for each other. Viktor and Jayce is a very popular ship among the Arcane fandom, but co-creator and head writer Christian Linke recently claimed that the two are just good bros, as the team wanted to focus on "close friendships" and "brotherhoods" between male characters.
Viktor and Jayce's relationship is rooted in love but not romantic. Viktor has always been envisioned as asexual in the show. Easily one of the best series of the past five years, be it. Arcane fandom. I am probably going to piss some people off but this wouldn't be the first time anyway The show has not once entertained the possibility that Jayce and Viktor could be together as a romantic couple.
